Merry Christmas y’all! As I look back on this year, I’m in awe at how far I’ve come and am so excited about where I’m headed for 2016.
So much has happened. I’ve learned to love myself more, open up to those who really care about me and let them care about me without putting walls up, grew my love for fitness fashion, renovated and redesigned a closet, fed my make up addiction, closed chapters that were necessary, and began to turn the page for the next chapter and so much more.
To each and every person who’s reading this post, thank you for taking the time to stop by, whether you comment or just read my posts, I’m so incredibly thankful for y’all and appreciate each and every one of you. You make this blog what it is: a place where I can share my passions of faith, health, fashion and lifestyle.
I know some of you may not resonate with Christmas depending on what’s going on in your personal life so I want offer you words of encouragement. Some of you may have lost someone during this time of year. You may have had to end a relationship. You may feel like you’re stuck and can’t get out of whatever it is you’re experiencing. Whatever it is, open your heart and do it every day, even if it’s in tiny steps. Open your heart to love. Open your heart to blessings. Open your heart for possibilities. Open your heart and allow life to enter and bring you happiness. Maybe then can you begin to heal from whatever you associate this holiday with and maybe, this Christmas will be the starting point to finding happiness once again, if you open your heart.
As you welcome family and friends into your homes or are on your way to someone’s home this week, I wish you and your loved ones the happiest times, memorable moments and the merriest, most love and laughter-filled Christmas!
